The Mission of the Utah Chapter of Association of Contingency Planners is to be the largest, most established organization of its kind in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and parts of New Mexico, as a unifying force for practitioners in the rapidly evolving field of business continuity. ACP provides a forum for the exchange of experiences and information through peer networking to benefit volunteer organizations, government agencies and businesses of all sizes. Valuable insight and partnerships can be gained that identify common planning needs and recovery solutions, and enhance skills that prepare families, communities, and industry.

The ACP Board expresses sincere appreciation to those who made it possible for us to meet for the last few years at the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control building.

The State of Utah is encouraging organizations to complete the 12 points of Ready Your Business. For those organizations that complete the 12 points the Govenor and Lt. Govenor will sign and present a Recognition of Readiness at the up coming 6th Annual Ready Your Business Conference to be held in August. See the following link for a schedule of when and where the 12 point workshops will be held North of Salt Lake 2010 or in Salt Lake 2010.
