8:30 am – 9:15 am Wellness Assessment Dr. Aric Krause, Dean of New Programs, Westminster College Dr. Krause offers an assessment of the impact of current economic conditions on businesses and insight as to where businesses may need to focus in order to remain viable.

9:15 am – 9:30 am Break/Vendor Visits

9:30 am – 10:15 am Lean and Mean – Trimming the Fat Scott Saxton, Lean Development/Consulting Manager, Autoliv Scott explains the application of “Lean” concepts in trimming excess expense and resources in order to remain a fit competitor in the current times.

10:15 am – 11:00 am Proper Nutrition Leland Milligan, Sr. Business Analyst, Sungard Leland presents the “5 basic food groups” of a strong business continuity program.

11:00 am – 11:15 am Break/Vendor Visits

11:15 am – Noon Strength Training Jennifer Baird, Business Continuity and Safety Administrator, America First Credit Union Jennifer shares some creative approaches and delivery methods for business continuity program training and awareness.

Noon – 1:15 pm Half Time - Lunch Creating a Winning Team! Evan Simon, Assistant Director of Strengthening and Conditioning, University of Utah Football Program Evan offers a parallel between analyzing incoming players, identifying their strengths and weaknesses and designing a strength training program that prepares them for the game!

1:15 pm – 2:00 pm The Workout – Elements of a Stringent Exercise Routine Lin Ochs, Business Continuity Coordinator, Discover Financial Services Lin describes a successful business continuity exercise routine including proper preparation, identifying and involving the appropriate players, documentation, evaluation and follow up.

2:00 pm – 2:15 pm Break/Vendor Visits

2:15 pm – 3:00 pm Mental Health Dr. Angie Panos, Intermountain EAP Dr. Panos offers tips for motivating employees and keeping employees mentally "healthy" in this uncertain economic environment. Dr. Panos also identifies signs that managers should watch for that signal an employee is struggling emotionally.
